Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position for a Company Driver based in Cape Town. The Company Driver will be responsible for transporting materials and equipment to and from construction sites. Daily tasks include ensuring the vehicle is in good condition, loading and unloading materials, complying with transport regulations, and maintaining communication with the office team for efficient delivery. Picking up and dropping off personnel and subcontractors. In charge of attendance registers and having foremen sign for them. Collection and submission of attendance registers, delivery notes, and receipts. Control of the store room. General administration of purchases. The role also involves providing excellent customer service and assisting with general logistics as needed.
Qualifications
• NSC with 80% for Mathematics and 75% for Languages.
• EC driver's license and PDP.
• SHE representative, First aid, Fire safety, Working at heights, and Scaffold erecting.
Requirements
- Languages: Afrikaans, English, IsiXhosa and Shona.
- Sober habits.
- Christian values.
- No criminal record.
- Good people skills.
- Contactable references.
- Living in or around Cape Town.
Experience
- 15 years construction experience.
- 10 years purchasing experience.
- 10 years driver experience.
Salary
- R10 000 – R15 000
