Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos Mainland for a Community Coordinator. The Community Coordinator will be responsible for planning and executing community outreach programs, engaging with stakeholders, organizing impactful events, and fostering partnerships to support AWF's mission. The role also involves maintaining communication with community members, raising awareness about drug prevention, and mobilizing support for AWF’s initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Community Engagement and Community Outreach
- Proficiency in Event Planning and Community Organizing
- Excellent Communication skills to effectively liaise with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to build and maintain relationships within the community
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Passion for working with young people and addressing social challenges
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Communications, or a related field is preferred
- Experience in NGO, education, or social impact initiatives is a plus
