Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Commission Sales Associate role based in Tripoli. The Commission Sales Associate will identify and qualify new business opportunities, focusing on clients that require air freight and logistics services. Responsibilities include prospecting and visiting potential and existing customers, preparing quotations, and presenting service offerings tailored to client needs. The role involves maintaining a sales pipeline, following up on leads, negotiating pricing and terms within company guidelines, and closing deals to meet or exceed sales targets. The associate will collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth handling of shipments, provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, and represent the company professionally at client meetings and local industry events.

Qualifications

  • Proven sales, business development, or account management experience, ideally in freight forwarding, logistics, or related transportation services.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Good organizational and time management abilities, including managing a sales pipeline, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines.
  • Comfortable working in a commission-based environment, with a results-driven mindset and the ability to work independently on-site.
  • Basic understanding of international trade, shipping, or air freight operations is preferred; willingness to learn industry specifics is essential.
  • Proficiency with common office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, CRM tools) and the ability to prepare professional proposals and reports.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional local or regional languages are an advantage.
  • High school diploma required; a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is an asset.
