Commis Chef – Night Shift

Newlands, Cape Town

You will ensure our guests receive world-class service, award-winning cuisine and memorable experiences at our conference & events, room service, bars, restaurants and lounge.

As a Commis Chef, you will be responsible for ensuring that culinary service standards are met, that service runs efficiently, and that the guest experience is monitored and maintained, ensuring that every one of our guests receives personalised attention and experiences every time.

Aside from your Matric Certificate and Culinary-related Tertiary Qualification, which are both advantageous, you have a minimum of 1 years experience in a similar role in a busy, up-market establishment and have the ability to work various shifts and across multiple kitchens and outlets.

You are neat and professional, with excellent communication skills that enhance teamwork and service.

Your knowledge of food preparation, storage, and the operation of kitchen equipment ensures efficient performance in a dynamic environment.
