Role Description
You will sit at the intersection of project delivery, commercial performance, and client engagement, ensuring our projects are both profitable and competitively positioned.
What You Will Do
Commercial & Financial Management
· Lead commercial management of projects from bid stage to final account
· Develop and manage project budgets, cost plans, and financial forecasts
· Monitor cash flow, margins, and cost-to-completion
· Drive cost efficiency through value engineering and optimization strategies
Contracts & Procurement
· Lead tendering, bid evaluation, and subcontractor selection
· Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and cost estimates
· Administer contracts using FIDIC, NEC, JCT, or similar frameworks
· Manage variations, claims, and dispute resolution processes
· Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms with clients and vendors
Business Development & Client Engagement
· Support identification and conversion of new business opportunities
· Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, contractors, and institutional clients
· Contribute to commercial strategy, pricing, and market positioning
· Participate in bid strategy and client presentations
Risk & Performance Management
· Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks
· Track and report on commercial performance metrics
· Ensure alignment between project delivery, cost control, and profitability
Collaboration & Leadership
· Work closely with project managers, engineers, finance, and procurement teams
· Provide commercial guidance across projects to improve decision-making and outcomes
· Support development of internal commercial processes and systems
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
· Master’s Degree or relevant professional certification is an advantage
· 10+ years’ experience in construction, infrastructure, or real estate projects
· Proven experience in commercial management, contracts, or project cost control
· Relevant professional certifications are highly desirable

· Project Cost Control & Financial Analysis (P&L, Cash Flow, Forecasting)
· Quantity Surveying & Cost Engineering
· Contract Administration (FIDIC / NEC / JCT or similar)

· Business Development & Market Intelligence
· Stakeholder Management & Negotiation
· Advanced Excel and digital project/commercial tools

· A commercially driven professional with strong construction project experience
· Able to balance technical cost control with commercial decision-making
· Skilled in negotiation, contract management, and stakeholder engagement
· Execution-focused with a track record of delivering profitable projects
· Comfortable working in a dynamic, growth-stage environment
· Demonstrates ownership, initiative, and accountability
· Digitally fluent
