Commercial Maintenance Technician – Bilingual Jobs in Aurora, CO at Affiliated Building Maintenance
Affiliated Building Maintenance is a full-service facility maintenance provider seeking a full-time Building Maintenance Technician to join our team of dedicated service professionals.
This is primarily an outdoor job. Applicants must be able to work in all weather conditions, including warm and cold months Additionally, candidates must have a valid driver’s license and be comfortable navigating/driving to multiple locations during the day.
We are expanding our Colorado team!
We are looking for a detail driven candidate that has general maintenance and quality control knowledge and is willing to learn and grow with our company.
Job duties include/ but not limited to:
- Email Communication with office including detailed reports with pictures
- Completion of route / work orders in a timely matter
- Drywall repair
- Patch and paint
- Curb painting and striping
- Concrete repair / Stone repair Masonry
- Roof cleaning – requires being on a high ladder
- Sign installation (Stop signs, parking signs, banners, and monument signs)
- Light plumbing – snaking the drains, changing a toilet, etc.
- Changing lights and ballasts
- Changing A/C filters
- Lock box installation
- Window board up
- Ceiling tile replacement
- Graffiti removal
- Bulk removals, relocation of furniture or heavy lifting
- Quality control inspections – requires attention to detail
- Meter readings
Bonus if you have experience in any of the following:
- Proposals / Bids
- Day Porter
- Pressure Washing
- Parking Lot Sweeping
Qualified candidates must have the following:
- Clean driving record – Work vehicle provided – MUST HAVE DRIVER’S LICENSE
- Email and general electronic knowledge
- Must be able to rotate weekends for "On Call"
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, bilingual *Spanish*
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Must be able to follow verbal & written instructions
