Commercial Furniture Consultant – Showroom Sales
Houston, TX – Full-Time, Monday–Friday

National Office Interiors is looking for a driven and customer-focused Commercial Furniture Consultant to join our dynamic in-house Sales team in Houston, TX. This is an exciting career opportunity for someone who loves sales, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys working with people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and engage customers in the showroom and over the phone, guiding them through their furniture needs and closing sales
  • Deliver a high-quality customer experience throughout the entire sales cycle, including post-sale follow-up
  • Proactively connect with previous clients to generate repeat and referral business
  • Develop a solid understanding of our products and use your expertise to exceed customer expectations
  • Generate and pursue B2B leads using a proactive and solution-based approach
  • Meet and exceed individual and team sales goals
  • Maintain accurate records of leads and customer interactions using Salesforce
  • Participate in product and sales training; actively seek out mentorship and coaching opportunities
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain the showroom, including merchandising and cleanliness
  • Assist clients with space planning using CAD, Giza, or similar software tools

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in sales, preferably in a retail or inside sales setting
  • Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—with a professional, customer-first attitude
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to manage time effectively
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and consistent follow-through
  • Above average computer skills, including email communication and order entry
  • Experience with Salesforce or comparable CRM systems preferred
  • Ability to quickly learn product knowledge and follow company protocols
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required
  • CAD, Giza, or other space-planning software knowledge is a bonus
