Job Summary: The Building Maintenance Technician is a maintenance professional who performs routine maintenance on various clients’ commercial properties. Our clients send our service team work orders with maintenance requests. It is the service technician’s responsibility to quickly arrive on-site to assess the situation and repair the issue.
Duties Included:
– Perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks in commercial properties
– Complete work orders in an efficient and timely manner
– Diagnose and troubleshoot multiple maintenance request at commercial facilities
– Repair or replace faulty equipment, fixtures, or appliances
– Install new equipment or fixtures as needed
– Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems and address them proactively
– Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and inventory
– Work closely with service manager and coordinator on all work orders
Qualifications
– Strong leadership skills and excellent problem-solving abilities

– Proficient in facilities maintenance tasks such as drywall, painting, acoustical ceilings, and carpentry related repairs
– Excellent customer service skills to interact with tenants or clients

– Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment
– Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
– Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
