Our client in the catering industry is seeking a skilled Cold Kitchen Chef to join their team in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
Minimum requirements:
Degree or Diploma in Culinary Arts advantageous
Minimum of 2 years’ professional experience in cold kitchen operations
Proven expertise in cold food preparation including salads, charcuterie, c, hors d’œuvres, sushi, and buffet items
Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, storage standards, and HACCP principles
Ability to manage inventory, control stock levels, and maintain par stocks along with other team members
Excellent organizational and communication skills for collaboration with chefs, service, and procurement teams
Flexible to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and public holidays
Physically fit – able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
