POSITION INFO:
A specialist in corrosion protection and industrial maintenance solutions is looking for a driven Sales Engineer to grow business in the Tzaneen region.
This role is ideal for someone who understands plant environments and can identify opportunities around maintenance, shutdowns, and asset protection.
Non-Negotiable Requirements:
- Proven experience in technical sales within mining, industrial, or processing environments
- Exposure to corrosion protection, coatings, linings, or maintenance services
- Ability to engage with plant, maintenance, and engineering teams
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally
- Strong track record of achieving sales targets
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the region
- Build and maintain relationships with key industrial clients
- Conduct site visits and assess maintenance and protection needs
- Present tailored corrosion and maintenance solutions
- Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity to close
- Track pipeline activity and upcoming shutdown opportunities
