POSITION INFO:
Our client is a specialised engineering and manufacturing business supporting the mining sector with precision components and technical solutions. Known for reliability and quality workmanship, they operate in a fast-paced, hands-on environment focused on delivering high-performance products to demanding industrial clients.
Duties:
- Set up, operate, and optimise CNC turning and milling machines using Fanuc controls.
- Interpret technical drawings, perform accurate measurements, and ensure that components meet quality standards.
- Conduct machine adjustments, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Participate in practical assessments, maintain a safe working environment, and consistently deliver high-precision work within production timelines.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- 5–7 years’ experience in CNC turning and milling operations
- Proficient in Fanuc control systems
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Relevant technical qualification (e.g. Trade Test / CNC Certification)
- Experience within manufacturing, engineering, or mining-related industries
