This isn't theoretical work. You'll bring your hands-on experience with IAM misconfigurations, networking gaps, and storage vulnerabilities to help AI reason about cloud security the way seasoned professionals do. Your expertise will directly shape how frontier AI understands and evaluates cloud risk.

What You'll Do
- Analyze real-world cloud security scenarios across AWS, GCP, and Azure to identify risks and failure patterns
- Review IAM, networking, storage, and container security issues with a practitioner's eye
- Classify security gaps, misconfigurations, and cloud-related failures based on real-world impact
- Validate and improve AI-generated security reasoning so it accurately reflects how cloud incidents unfold
- Provide structured, expert feedback that helps AI systems think like a seasoned cloud security engineer
Who You Are
- 2+ years of hands-on experience working with cloud environments in production
- Solid understanding of cloud IAM, networking, storage, and container security concepts
- Familiarity with real-world misconfigurations, blast radius analysis, and security incidents
- Able to reason clearly about risk exposure and business impact
- Self-directed and comfortable working asynchronously on task-based assignments
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud security tooling (e.g., Wiz, Prisma, AWS Security Hub, GCP Security Command Center)
- Background in incident response, penetration testing, or cloud compliance
- Familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK for Cloud, CSA CCM, or CIS Benchmarks
