Org. Setting and Reporting: These multiple positions are located within the Security Section of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL). The incumbents will be under the overall supervision of the Chief Security Adviser for Libya. Tripoli, Libya is classified as a Hardship "E" duty station and a non-family duty station. The Security Council adopted its resolution 2796 on 31 October 2025 by which it renewed the mandate of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) through 31 October 2026, as set out in resolution 2542 (2020).
