We are currently hiring for a Client Service / Project Manager role based in Bryanston, and we are specifically looking for candidates with experience in a branding or design studio environment.
This is a focused role that sits between client, strategy, and design, managing the delivery of brand identity projects from concept through to rollout.
Please note that this role is not suited to candidates from purely digital, media, or campaign-heavy advertising agencies without brand identity experience.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will manage brand identity and design projects end-to-end, working closely with clients, designers, and strategists to ensure high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage brand identity projects from briefing through to final delivery
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients
- Translate client requirements into clear, structured creative briefs
- Work closely with designers and brand strategists
- Manage timelines, budgets, and project scope
- Facilitate feedback loops, revisions, and approvals
- Ensure consistency and quality across all brand outputs
- Oversee rollout of brand identity across multiple touchpoints
Requirements
Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- Experience working within a branding or design studio like: Grid Worldwide, Interbrand (JHB), Brand Union / Superunion (if active locally), HKLM, The Odd Number, Retroviral (hybrid but strong brand thinking), Liquorice, Mash Lab, Studio Sunshine Gun.
- Proven experience managing brand identity or rebranding projects
- Strong client service and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working directly with design teams
- Understanding of brand identity systems, CI, and brand guidelines
Ideal Background
- Account Manager or Client Service Manager in a branding studio
- Brand Project Manager in a design-led environment
- Experience working on logo development, brand systems, and identity rollouts
Location and Package
- On-site role based in Bryanston
- Salary: R55,000 CTC (depending on experience)
