Role Description The Cleaning Company Owner at Bodymotions Physio Lounge is responsible for overseeing all cleaning and hygiene operations within the facility to ensure a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for clients and staff. This full-time, on-site role, based in Lagos, includes planning and supervising daily cleaning schedules, managing cleaning staff, and ensuring adherence to health, safety, and infection-control standards. The role involves procuring and managing cleaning supplies and equipment, setting quality benchmarks, and conducting regular inspections to maintain a high standard of cleanliness in treatment rooms, reception areas, restrooms, and common spaces. The Cleaning Company Owner will also coordinate with physiotherapy and administrative teams to minimize operational disruptions, respond promptly to maintenance or cleanliness concerns, and continuously improve cleaning processes.
Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong facility management and operations skills, including scheduling, workflow planning, and supervision of cleaning staff.
  • Candidates should possess expertise in professional cleaning practices, including surface disinfection, waste management, and the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Candidates should possess knowledge of health, safety, and infection-control standards, particularly in healthcare or clinical environments.
  • Candidates should possess organizational and administrative skills, such as inventory management, record keeping, and basic budgeting.
  • Candidates should possess effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clinical and administrative teams and provide clear direction to staff.
  • Previous experience managing or owning a cleaning service, especially in healthcare, hospitality, or commercial facilities, is highly beneficial.
  • Relevant vocational training or certification in facility management, environmental services, or occupational health and safety is an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site in Lagos full time, demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and client care.
