Location: Epping
Job Type: Full-time, Probationary Permanent
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 06:00 – 15:00
- Every alternate Saturday: 06:00 – 12:00
Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our food manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the entire premises to ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic working environment for approximately 50+ employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize all office areas (3 offices)
- Clean and maintain the staff canteen
- Clean and sanitize staff changing rooms and ablution facilities
- Clean general areas, including passages, entrances, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect all designated areas
- Carry out scheduled deep cleaning of all facilities
- Empty bins and dispose of waste according to company procedures
- Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies where required
- Report maintenance issues or damages to management
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures
- Ensure cleaning equipment is used correctly and stored safely
- Maintain cleanliness standards throughout the working day
- Assist General Workers with operational duties when required, as directed by management.
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safe cleaning practices
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good attention to detail
- Fluent in English, with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual cleaning duties
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Willing to work alternate Saturdays
