Lead Janitorial Cleaner – Day Shift (Full-Time, Weekdays)
Job Description:
Maug Cleaning, Inc. is hiring a Lead Janitorial Cleaner for a daytime position in the Menomonie, WI area.
This is an independent role within a manufacturing facility, working around employees and production staff throughout the day. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-minded, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in an active industrial environment.
Pay & Schedule
- $18.00/hour
- Monday-Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Paid 30-minute break
- 40 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain manufacturing and commercial facility spaces
- Perform routine janitorial tasks including trash removal, floor care, surface cleaning, and restrooms
- Work independently to complete assigned cleaning duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the facility
- Communicate professionally with employees, staff, and management
What to Expect:
- Flexible night schedule
- Work across one or multiple nearby locations
- Bending, lifting (up to 40 lbs), and repetitive movement
- Fast-paced and physically active role (walking 10,000+ steps per day)
- Manufacturing/industrial work environment
- Working independently while around employees throughout the facility
- Required PPE including steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, safety vest, and hearing protection
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Possess a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Comfortable working around others in a manufacturing setting
- Good people skills and professional communication
- Ability to wear required PPE throughout the shift
- Independent and self-motivated work ethic
