Requirements
Must have sound experience in draughting of civil engineering drawings for a variety of civil infrastructure, such as water, sewer, stormwater, roads, earthworks and ponds.
Good knowledge of Local Authority & Public Works approval processes is advantageous
A minimum of six (6) years working experience in a design office up to a maximum of ten (10) years
Design experience in municipal services and general civil works is advantageous.
Must be based in Cape Town or willing to relocate to Cape Town before commencement date
Adherence to full time office hours and availability of overtime as and when required to meet deadlines.
Must have experience with the following Computer Software Programs:
Key Responsibilities for the role:
Form part of an existing civil engineering design office & report to a Project Leader
Engineering drawing support to Project Leader and Design Engineers/Technologists
Preparation of preliminary and detailed design drawings and typical details to construction drawings level of detail
Assisting with the developing and maintaining of office drawing templates and standards
Requirements
Grade 12 (Essential) Must have sound experience in draughting of civil engineering drawings for a variety of civil infrastructure, such as water, sewer, stormwater, roads, earthworks and ponds.
