Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough intake assessments to understand each child’s unique needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Deliver individual and family counseling sessions utilizing therapeutic modalities such as play therapy, TF-CBT, CBT and other evidenced-based interventions.
- Collect and document medical records, patient data, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
- Utilize diagnostic evaluation tools to assess mental health conditions.
Skills
- Proven experience working with children and families in community care or mental health settings.
- Strong knowledge, or desire to learn, play therapy and other child therapy interventions.
- Good time-management skills and ability to operate in a busy practice.
- Passion to work with children.
Pay: $48,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
