Advisory Kulture® is supporting one of our clients in the African banking sector to appoint a highly experienced and transformational Chief Operating Officer.
The Chief Operating Officer will provide strategic and operational leadership across the Bank’s enterprise-wide operations function. The role is responsible for driving operational excellence, process optimisation, regulatory compliance, digital transformation, and business intelligence to support sustainable growth and an exceptional customer experience.
The COO will oversee key operational functions, including Organisation and Methods, process automation, banking operations, enterprise data, analytics and business intelligence, cards, payments, exchange control, and document management and retention.
This executive role is accountable for building efficient, scalable, and digitally enabled operations that:
- Support the Bank’s strategic objectives
- Strengthen regulatory compliance and operational risk management
- Improve service delivery and customer experience
- Enhance data-driven decision-making
- Drive productivity, automation, and continuous improvement
- Maintain the Bank’s competitive advantage in a rapidly evolving financial services environment
The successful candidate will be a commercially minded and transformational operations leader with a strong track record of leading complex banking operations, modernising processes, and delivering measurable enterprise-wide improvements across the African regional Landscape.
