Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) based in the Johannesburg Metropolitan Area, with a flexible work-from-home arrangement. As the CMO, you will develop and implement strategic marketing plans to drive customer acquisition and brand growth. Your responsibilities will include conducting market research, leading marketing initiatives, managing public relations, and overseeing partnerships that complement the in-game advertising campaigns. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between marketing and organizational goals while driving revenue growth and customer engagement strategies.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Market Planning and Marketing Management to successfully strategize, implement, and optimize marketing campaigns.
- Proficiency in Market Research to identify trends, audience preferences, and new opportunities for growth.
- Experience in Public Relations to enhance brand visibility and build strong media and stakeholder relationships.
- Strong background in Sales and business development to align marketing initiatives with revenue objectives.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills to inspire and guide a diverse group of professionals.
- Analytical skills with the ability to measure and report on marketing performance metrics.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Experience in the gaming or digital advertising industry is a strong advantage.
