Qalaa El Hamraa is seeking an accomplished and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for shaping the company's financial strategy, driving sustainable growth, and ensuring long-term financial strength and operational excellence.
The CFO will serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and senior leadership team, providing strategic financial direction, overseeing financial performance, and supporting the company's ambitious growth objectives. The ideal candidate is a visionary finance leader with extensive executive-level experience, exceptional business acumen, and a proven track record of delivering value in dynamic and complex environments.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Financial Planning
- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's long-term vision and business objectives.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions, investments, and expansion initiatives.
- Lead the development of annual budgets, financial forecasts, business plans, and long-range financial models.
- Partner with executive leadership to evaluate growth opportunities and drive sustainable profitability.
Financial Management & Reporting
- Oversee all financial planning, budgeting, accounting, reporting, and performance management activities.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and transparency of financial reporting in compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor key financial and operational performance indicators, providing actionable recommendations to enhance efficiency and profitability.
- Present financial results and strategic recommendations to the CEO, Board of Directors, and key stakeholders.
Capital Structure & Treasury Management
- Manage the company's capital structure, financing strategies, and funding requirements to support business growth.
- Oversee treasury operations, cash flow management, liquidity planning, and working capital optimization.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with banks, investors, financial institutions, and external stakeholders.
Risk Management & Governance
- Lead enterprise-wide financial risk management initiatives and maintain a robust internal control environment.
- Ensure full compliance with financial regulations, tax requirements, and corporate governance standards.
- Collaborate with auditors, regulators, and external advisors to protect and strengthen the company's financial position.
- Support business continuity planning through proactive risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
Leadership & Organizational Development
- Lead and develop high-performing teams across Finance, Accounting, Tax, and Treasury functions.
- Foster a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Champion digital transformation initiatives and the implementation of financial systems and technologies that enhance business performance and scalability.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 20 years of progressive finance leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a CFO, C-suite, or senior executive capacity.
- Proven expertise in financial strategy, corporate finance, treasury management, capital markets, and risk management.
- Demonstrated success in supporting business growth, organizational transformation, and value creation initiatives.
- Experience in mergers and acquisitions, business expansion, and international finance is considered a strong advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with significant Board-level exposure.
- Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making capabilities.
