Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Ceramic Tile Setter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing high-quality ceramic tiles across various residential, commercial, and renovation projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces with precision and craftsmanship, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal. Duties
- Measure, cut, and lay ceramic tiles with accuracy according to project specifications and blueprints
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying suitable adhesives or mortar for optimal tile adhesion
- Install tile trims, moldings, and finishing details to achieve a polished look
- Collaborate with project managers, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, and other trades to coordinate installation efforts
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete tile laying tasks
- Inspect completed work for quality control, ensuring alignment, grout lines, and surface flatness meet standards
- Assist in demolition or surface preparation for new tile installations as needed
Skills
- Familiarity with related trades such as plumbing, electrical work, masonry, plastering, and carpentry to support integrated project execution
- Skilled in using hand tools (trowels, chisels) and power tools (tile saws, grinders) safely and effectively
- Ability to operate heavy equipment when necessary for site preparation or material handling
- Strong understanding of flooring installation, caulking, trim carpentry
