Position Overview
The Central Supply Coordinator is responsible for managing all medical and facility supplies, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring timely distribution of supplies throughout the building.
Key Responsibilities
- Order, receive, and stock medical and facility supplies
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and perform routine audits
- Distribute supplies to nursing units and departments as needed
- Ensure proper storage and organization of supplies
- Monitor usage and adjust ordering to control costs
- Maintain vendor relationships and coordinate deliveries
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards
- Assist with equipment tracking, maintenance, and repairs
- Support nursing and department managers with supply needs
Qualifications
- Previous experience in central supply, inventory, or healthcare setting preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Basic computer skills required
- Knowledge of medical supplies and equipment preferred
