Key Outputs

• Interpretation of Condition Monitoring elements.

• Define preventative maintenance checklist for each model of equipment on MARC/CVA.

• Manage scheduled oil sampling data and recommend preventative maintenance interventions.

• Manage VIMS data and Minestar health information.

• Manage run fleet productivity optimisation program.

• Aggregate data and make calculated and informed recommendations for preventative maintenance.

• Ensure effective self-management and performance ownership.

• Achieve team Balance Scorecard.

• Achieve applicable Service Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).

• Ensure Personal Development Action Plan is in place and adhere to.

Qualification, Experience and Competencies

• Qualified Artisan (Mechanic in relevant trade i.e. Diesel / Earthmoving).

• 5 years post-apprentice / learnership experience.

• Strong technical Knowledge/Experience (Field Service, Marc & CVA, General Bay Advantage)

• Sound business communication and presentation skills.

• Problem solving, Analysis and judgement Numerical reasoning.

• Building Relationships and networking/Liaison, Customer Responsiveness.

• Computer Literate (MS Office)

• Trouble shooting, problem solving and failure analysis skills.

• Caterpillar product knowledge.

• Familiar with the use of Service Technician Workbench, SIS, ET.

• Experience in analysing oil sampling and trends (advantage)
