Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating tractor tailer with doubles endorsement. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while transporting goods to designated locations. The Truck Driver will be responsible for hub to hub transportation, no touching of freight.
Responsibilities
- Operate tractor trailer with single or doubles
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Ability to use electronic logging device (ELD)
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required.
- no felanies in the last 10 years.
- Proven experience of at least one year or graduated from Fedex approved school within the last 12 months.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to transportation.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to hook and unhook trailers and dolly
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members
