Responsibilities
- Plan and design menus that cater to various dietary needs and preferences.
- Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices are followed at all times.
- Collaborate with the team to set up catering events, including buffet displays and serving stations.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels.
- Provide exceptional customer service during events, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff as needed, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry is essential; catering experience is highly desirable.
- Culinary experience with a focus on fine dining is preferred.
- Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and menu planning.
- Familiarity with dietary department practices or as a dietary aide is a plus.
- Proven knife skills and knowledge of food safety regulations.
- Experience in restaurant or kitchen settings will be beneficial.

Pay: $23.45 – $28.24 per hour
