Core responsibilities:
- Operates table games such as blackjack, roulette, baccarat, poker, and craps
- Shuffles and deals cards or spins roulette wheels
- Pays winning bets and collects losing wagers accurately
- Handles chips and manages betting actions at the table
- Enforces game rules and explains them to players when needed
- Keeps the game moving at a steady pace
- Reports any disputes, irregularities, or suspected cheating to supervisors
- Ensures compliance with casino regulations and procedures
Skills and qualities required:
- Strong math skills (quick mental arithmetic is essential)
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stay focused for long periods
- Emotional control (handling wins, losses, and difficult customers calmly)
