What You’ll Do
- You’ll move between the register and the floor throughout your shift:
- Ring up customers at the POS (cash, card, EBT, gift cards, and more) and keep an accurate till
- Greet customers, answer questions about our grocery, deli, and meat & seafood offerings, and help them find what they need
- Take accurate customer orders for the Deli
- Support other departments when needed
- Receive shipments, stock shelves and coolers, rotate product (FIFO), and keep displays clean and full
- Make coffee drinks to order
- Opening and closing duties
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
What We’re Looking For
- Genuine warmth with customers and a positive, team-first attitude
- Reliability, punctuality, and strong attention to detail
- Comfort handling cash and learning a POS system
- Ability to stand and move for up to 10 hours
- Ability to lift or move to 40 lbs throughout a shift
Bonus points for: grocery or food retail experience; barista experience; familiarity with specialty or locally sourced products.
Pay: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour
