Responsibilities
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
- Process transactions and payments: Handle cash, card, and other payment methods accurately and efficiently while issuing receipts
- Reconcile cash and accounts: Balance cash drawers, verify daily transactions, and report discrepancies
- Ensure accurate billing: Prepare and post charges, ensuring all transactions are correctly recorded
- Maintain financial records: Update cashier reports and ensure compliance with company procedures
- Support daily closing: Assist with end-of-day reconciliation and reporting
- Respond to guest inquiries: Address questions regarding billing and payments professionally
- Ensure compliance and control: Follow internal controls, cash handling policies, and support audit requirements
