METRACO is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Buyer to join its team. The selected candidate will play a key role in procurement and purchasing operations, ensuring product quality, availability, and competitiveness.
📌 Main Responsibilities:
- Source suppliers, select products, negotiate contracts/proformas, and manage supplier relationships;
- Handle purchase orders, including ERP processing, execution follow-up, and reporting for products and spare parts;
- Analyze supplier offers, product comparisons, and sourcing opportunities;
- Review and inspect supplier samples and prepare testing reports;
- Manage product data and design elements: artwork, labels, translations, codes, technical sheets, catalogs, etc.;
- Create items, purchase orders, barcodes, and serial numbers within the ERP system;
- Coordinate with internal departments and external partners: designers, after-sales service, import, logistics, suppliers, e-commerce integration, etc.;
- Contribute to process improvement by optimizing workflows, databases, templates, checklists, and guidelines;
- Ensure proper use and management of purchasing tools and international trade processes.
👤 Profile Required:
✅ Master’s degree (Bac+5) in International Trade or related field
✅ Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing and international trade
✅ Good command of ERP systems, office tools, and negotiation techniques
✅ Fluent in both French and English
✅ Strong analytical skills, rigor, team spirit, and initiative
✅ Immediate availability preferred
