As a people lead in HR you will partners with business leaders on strategic priorities including talent management, employee engagement, organisational effectiveness and change management. Advise and coach leaders on driving the organisational values and culture. Drive adoption of the People service delivery model within the business. Support and guide People Business Advisors in applying People programs to business goals.

Minimum Requirements

  • HR related/relevant Diploma/ Degree
  • 8-10 years’ relevant experience
  • 2 – 5 years Line Management experience
  • Exposure to working in HR in Retail would be an advantage
  • Strong partnering capabilities (both with line and People)
  • A comprehensive understanding of all People life-cycle events and processes
  • Coaching & Feedback competence
  • Change/ Transformation Management
  • Conflict resolution
  • Planning skills
  • Ability to travel locally from time to time
  • Valid driver’s license essential for role requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Co-create and drive People strategy with a commercial perspective – connected into the broader business
  • Align People budget to the strategy
  • Actively consult and provide solutions related to workforce, talent and organizational matters to senior business leaders
  • Develop forward-thinking solutions based on understanding of relevant business operations and strategies
  • Provide leadership over People projects
  • Develop and drive workforce and talent plans
  • Coach and advise on the design and implementation of People programs, ensuring programs remain relevant to the business supported
  • Consistently review People structure and Ways of Working to ensure effective and sustainable
  • Champion the organizational values and culture
  • Coach and develop Business Leaders on People related matters
  • Coach and lead People team, aligned to CRG strategy
  • Identify business needs and lead organizational change initiatives
  • Leader and bring in resources from the WHL COE to implement People solutions that meet the distinctive challenges of the business
