About The Role

We’re looking for a hungry, confident Business Development Representative (BDR) who enjoys building relationships, engaging decision-makers, and bringing new business opportunities to the company.

This is a full-time hybrid role — you’ll work remotely most days with periodic in-office collaboration in Lagos.

Your primary responsibility is identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities that directly contribute to company revenue.

This role is ideal for someone who is commercially driven, proactive, and comfortable initiating conversations with senior decision-makers.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Identify and develop new B2B business opportunities through outbound prospecting and relationship building
  • Reach out to founders, executives, and decision-makers via phone, email, LinkedIn, and in-person meetings when necessary
  • Run targeted outbound campaigns to generate qualified business opportunities
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand prospects’ business challenges and needs
  • Book and run discovery meetings with qualified prospects
  • Move opportunities forward and support closing conversations with the sales team
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and follow-up communications
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline updates
  • Provide weekly sales activity and pipeline reports
  • Collaborate closely with leadership to achieve revenue targets
  • Represent the Axiva brand professionally when engaging potential clients
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with business decision-makers

    Compensation & Earnings

    • Commission-only role
    • 10% – 15% commission on every closed deal
    • Typical monthly earnings: ₦750,000+
    • Top performers consistently earn above this range
    • No earning cap — performance directly determines income
