About the Role
Our client, a leading player in the Plastics Packaging Industry specializing in both Rigid and Flexible Packaging Solutions, is seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Business Development Officer to spearhead sales growth and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales of stackable crates and plastic packaging solutions.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities while growing existing customer accounts.
- Conduct customer visits, presentations and negotiations to close sales opportunities.
- Prepare and track sales pipelines and revenue targets.
- Gather market intelligence on competitors, pricing and emerging opportunities.
- Work closely with internal teams to deliver customer requirements efficiently.
- Achieve assigned sales, volume and profitability targets.
- Promote value-added products including IML and stretch solutions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience in Sales or Business Development within the plastic packaging industry.
- Strong understanding of rigid and flexible packaging products.
- Experience in stackable crates or returnable packaging solutions is highly desirable.
- Exposure to IML and/or stretch products will be an added advantage.
- Experience selling to FMCG, beverage, dairy, horticulture, logistics or manufacturing sectors will be an added advantage.
- Strong negotiation, presentation and customer relationship management skills.
- Highly commercial, target-driven and results oriented.
