SUMMARY:
Business Development Manager (IT / Software Sales)
POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:
- New Business & Sales Growth
- Drive lead generation, prospecting, and new client acquisition.
- Secure long-term partnerships with corporate and tech clients.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to enter new markets.
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within new accounts.
- Consistently achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Client & Market Strategy
- Collaborate with leadership to develop tailored staffing and development solutions.
- Conduct market research to stay ahead of tech trends and opportunities.
- Maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.
- Provide weekly and monthly sales activity and pipeline reports to senior management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric (essential).
- 2–3+ years’ experience in IT sales/business development within tech, software, or corporate environments.
- Proven track record of bringing in new clients (not account management only).
- Strong understanding of technical roles and software development environments.
- Established and usable network within the tech or corporate space.
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
