Title: Business Development Manager

Role Purpose
The role is responsible for driving business growth in Egypt as the primary market, while supporting and facilitating sales and marketing activities in KSA, and potentially Qatar and Bahrain. The focus is on selling Credit Risk, Finance Risk, Market Risk, and associated IT services & solutions to Banks (BFI) and Non‑Bank Financial Institutions (NBFI).
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within Egypt’s BFI & NBFI sector
- Support and facilitate sales opportunities in KSA, with additional coverage of Qatar & Bahrain
- Manage the full sales life cycle from lead generation to deal closure
- Develop and maintain a strong revenue pipeline aligned with assigned targets
- Represent the company in client meetings, negotiations, and solution presentations
Regional Market Facilitation
- Act as a commercial bridge between Egypt and GCC markets
- Support regional go‑to‑market initiatives and market entry efforts
- Leverage personal and professional networks to enable introductions and meetings
- Coordinate with regional and internal teams on pursuits and opportunities
Relationship Management
- Build and sustain relationships with C‑suite and senior executives
- Position the organization as a trusted advisor for risk and technology solutions
- For senior roles, independently manage large or strategic accounts
Marketing, Thought Leadership & Events
- Lead and contribute to presentations and product demos, Webinars, and seminars.
- Support marketing campaigns and demand generation initiatives
- Participate in regional industry events as required
Reporting, CRM & Internal Coordination
- Maintain accurate sales data, forecasts, and pipeline visibility in CRM
- Prepare executive‑level sales reports and opportunity analyses
- Collaborate with presales, delivery, marketing, and regional teams
- Support proposal development, RFPs, and RFIs
3. INTERNAL / HR EVALUATION CRITERIA
Experience Assessment
- Years and relevance of sales experience in banking and financial services
- Depth of exposure to IT services, enterprise solutions, and risk platforms
- Evidence of hands‑on sales execution versus support roles
Sales Performance Evaluation
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Deal size, sales cycle complexity, and enterprise client engagement
- For Managerial role:
- Clear evidence of sales excellence in current or immediate past role
- Ownership of strategic or high‑value accounts
Stakeholder & Network Validation
- Quality and seniority of C‑level relationships
- Ability to demonstrate real influence vs theoretical access
- Existing or prior regional (KSA, Qatar, Bahrain) connections
Communication & Presentation Evaluation
- Ability to clearly articulate complex solutions
- Confidence and polish in executive‑level presentations
- Capability to independently lead:
- Client meetings
- Webinars
- Seminars and workshops
Technical & Operational Competence
- CRM proficiency and understanding of pipeline management
- Reporting accuracy and analytical capability
- Discipline in follow‑ups, forecasting, and documentation
Role Level Determination Guide
The position can be offered at Executive/Officer or Manager level, depending on experience, sales track record, and stakeholder access.
