Tap&Hop is seeking an experienced, driven Business Development Manager to join our growing team. This role is focused on expanding our market presence, driving revenue growth, and building strong, long-term relationships with clients and partners.
Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kumasi for a Business Development Manager. You will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and delivering solutions that align with client needs. Working closely with internal teams, you will help position Tap&Hop as a leader in digital and transport technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, prospect, and convert new business opportunities through networking, outreach, and strategic engagement.
- Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Lead client meetings, presentations, and proposal development
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, product, and engineering) to deliver tailored solutions
- Manage the full sales lifecycle from lead generation to deal closure
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform strategy
- Represent Tap&Hop at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences
- Maintain accurate records of all activities in CRM systems
- Drive client retention by identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Business Development, Sales, or a related role
- Strong track record of achieving revenue targets and driving business growth
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and competitive positioning
- Proficiency with CRM tools and sales reporting
