We are seeking a strategic and high-performing Business Development Manager to drive expansion across our global footprint. With over two decades of excellence and physical hubs in Nigeria, Dubai, and the UK, we provide end-to-end logistics solutions for the world’s most demanding industries.

As the BDM, you will be the face of the company to Tier-1 corporate clients. You will leverage your deep industry networks in Oil & Gas, FMCG, and Telecommunications to secure long-term partnerships and design bespoke global logistics frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Portfolio Growth: Identify and close high-value logistics contracts with multinational corporations requiring multi-modal (Sea, Air, Land) global movement.
  • Sector Expertise: Develop and execute tailored market entry and expansion strategies specifically for the Oil & Gas (Upstream/Downstream), FMCG (Supply Chain), and Communications sectors.
  • Relationship Architect: Manage the full sales lifecycle, from cold outreach to C-suite negotiations and long-term account retention.
  • Cross-Border Collaboration: Work closely with our Dubai and UK offices to ensure seamless service delivery for clients with international trade routes.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor global shipping trends, regulatory changes in the Nigeria/UAE/UK corridors, and competitor activity to keep Seth Corporate Logistics ahead of the curve.
  • Tender Management: Lead the preparation of technical and commercial bids for major corporate and government tenders.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in Business Development or Account Management within the global logistics/freight forwarding industry.
  • Network: A proven "rolodex" of active contacts within the Nigerian and international Oil & Gas or FMCG space.
  • Global Mindset: Strong understanding of international Incoterms, customs regulations in Nigeria (NCAL/SONCAP), and logistics hubs in the Middle East and Europe.
  • Communication: Exceptional boardroom-level presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or professional certifications like CILT are a major plus).
