Position: Job Title:Business Development Manager
Gauteng, Johannesburg Business Development Manager (IT / Software Sales)
Key Responsibilities :
Drive lead generation, prospecting, and new client acquisition.
Secure long-term partnerships with corporate and tech clients.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to enter new markets.
Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within new accounts.
Consistently achieve and exceed revenue targets.
Collaborate with leadership to develop tailored staffing and development solutions.
Conduct market research to stay ahead of tech trends and opportunities.
Maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.
Provide weekly and monthly sales activity and pipeline reports to senior management.
Minimum Requirements:
2–3+ years’ experience in IT sales/business development within tech, software, or corporate environments.
Proven track record of bringing in new clients (not account management only).
Strong understanding of technical roles and software development environments.
Established and usable network within the tech or corporate space.
Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
