About The Role

We are looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Business Development Executive to support the growth of our facilities management services across the UK and international markets.

This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in B2B sales within the Facilities Management sector. The successful candidate will focus on generating new business opportunities, qualifying leads, and supporting the sales process, helping to convert prospects into long-term clients.

You will work closely with the leadership and sales teams to identify opportunities, assist in tender preparation, and build strong relationships with key decision-makers across industries such as commercial property, healthcare, education, retail, and industrial sectors.

This is a strategic sales role that includes outbound prospecting and relationship development rather than high-volume cold calling.

Responsibilities – What you'll be doing

  • Identifying and researching potential B2B clients requiring facilities management services
  • Conducting strategic outbound sales outreach, including calls, LinkedIn engagement, and networking
  • Qualifying leads and building rapport with prospective clients
  • Booking and supporting client meetings for senior leadership or sales teams
  • Supporting the preparation of PQQs, RFQs, proposals, and tender submissions
  • Assisting in pricing and proposal development, including pitch deck preparation
  • Maintaining accurate sales pipeline data within CRM systems
  • Monitoring competitor activity and market trends within the facilities management industry
  • Developing relationships with property managers, procurement teams, and operations leaders
  • Supporting the conversion of leads into new contract opportunities
  • Contributing to weekly sales reporting and pipeline updates

Requirements – What we're looking for

We believe the ideal candidate will demonstrate many of the following qualities:

  • 0–4 years of experience in sales, business development, or a customer-facing role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident engaging decision-makers via calls, meetings, and digital channels
  • Experience with lead qualification and outbound sales outreach
  • Comfortable preparing proposals, presentations, and pricing models
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple prospects
  • Commercial curiosity and interest in how business contracts are structured
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Highly personable with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly
  • Strong numerical reasoning and comfort working with pricing or probability calculations
  • Professional-level English communication skills

Desirable (Not Essential):

  • Exposure to Facilities Management, property services, or construction sectors
  • Experience working with procurement teams
  • Familiarity with compliance standards within facilities management
  • Experience using AI tools to support productivity or workflow

Work Schedule

  • Monday – Friday
  • 09:00 AM – 05:00 PM GMT
  • 11:00 AM – 07:00 PM South Africa Standard Time (SAST)

Pay & Benefits – What we offer

  • Monthly salary R25,000 – R28,000
