We're Hiring: Business Developer – Construction & Engineering Consultancy
Bim Hive is expanding, and we're looking for an experienced Business Developer to help drive our growth in the construction and technical consultancy space.
About the Role
As a Business Developer, you will play a key role in expanding our client base, strengthening industry relationships, and identifying new opportunities within the built environment sector. You will work closely with leadership to shape and execute strategies that support our continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within our core markets
- Generate qualified leads and manage the full client acquisition cycle
- Prepare and present compelling technical and commercial proposals
- Lead contract negotiations to closure
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors
- Monitor market trends to uncover emerging opportunities and inform strategic decisions
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc.) in Business Administration
- 3–5 years of proven business development experience in construction, engineering, or a related technical field
- Strong grasp of business development fundamentals: lead generation, client acquisition, proposal writing, and negotiation
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) — mandatory
- A results-driven mindset with an established presence in the construction market
