About the Role:
We’re seeking a highly professional, analytical and solutions-driven Senior Systems Business Analyst to join our dynamic team at Alexforbes. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels, and is passionate about driving operational improvement and delivering effective business and system solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyse, document and validate business requirements through workshops, interviews and JAD sessions.
- Translate business requirements into clear business and functional specifications for technical teams.
- Analyse and map end-to-end business processes, including data flows and system dependencies.
- Develop business cases, define solution scope and support strategic solution planning.
- Prepare, maintain and communicate high-quality requirements documentation.
- Facilitate requirements walkthroughs and discussions with business and technical stakeholders.
- Support solution validation, system testing and user acceptance testing to ensure business readiness.
- Extract, analyse and interpret data to support reporting, solution design and system improvements.
- Investigate discrepancies, resolve issues and translate business information needs into actionable outputs.
- Manage stakeholder expectations by prioritising business requests and ensuring timely delivery of requirements.
Requirements:
Education:
- National Senior Certificate (Matric).
- Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Business Analysis or a related field.
Experience:
- 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Financial Services industry.
- Experience in data analysis or business intelligence (advantageous).
