A leading African fintech is looking for a Business Analyst to join its growing Product team. Operating across multiple African markets, the business is leveraging technology, data, and customer-centric thinking to make financial services more accessible, efficient, and inclusive.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on products that impact thousands of customers while collaborating with Product Owners, Developers, Data Specialists, and Business Leaders to bring innovative solutions to life.
What You'll Do:
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements from stakeholders across various business functions.
- Translate complex business needs into clear user stories, process flows, and functional requirements.
- Support the design and delivery of digital products and system enhancements.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer journeys, operational processes, and business performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.
- Assist with solution design, testing, validation, and implementation activities.
- Support Agile delivery processes, including backlog refinement and sprint planning.
- Maintain high-quality documentation and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
What We're Looking For:
- A degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Business Analysis, Product Support, Functional Consulting, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of business process analysis and requirements gathering.
- Experience working in Agile environments and cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and validation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, Google Sheets, or similar platforms.
- Strong attention to detail with a structured and solution-oriented mindset.
- Experience within fintech, financial services, or digital products is advantageous.
