AFS is looking for a highly analytical and commercially driven Business Analyst – Payments Strategy to join our growing Fintech team.
In this role, you will analyze payment products, merchant profitability, and business performance, while supporting strategic initiatives across acquiring, issuing, and digital payments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze payment products, merchant portfolios, and business performance.
- Evaluate interchange economics, scheme fees, and optimization opportunities.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
- Track acquiring profitability by merchant segment and MCC
- Prepare business cases for new products, partnerships, and strategic initiatives.
- Develop dashboards, management reports, and performance insights.
- Gather and document business requirements, BRDs, process flows, and user stories.
- Support project delivery, UAT execution, and product implementations.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve business outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of Business Analysis experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience within Payments, Banking, Fintech, Acquiring, Issuing, Cards, or Digital Payments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics tools is highly preferred.
- Understanding of card payment ecosystems, interchange, scheme fees, and merchant acquiring is an advantage.
