Overview

The Planning & Scheduling Specialist is responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules to ensure timely and efficient execution from inception to completion. Reporting to the Project Manager, this role provides technical expertise in planning, resource allocation, progress tracking, and risk analysis. The Planning & Scheduling Specialist collaborates with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to optimize project timelines, mitigate delays, and enhance overall project efficiency

• l:Develop and maintain detailed project schedules in alignment with project objectives, milestones, and contractual obligation
• s.Ensure schedule compliance by monitoring progress, identifying deviations, and implementing corrective action
• s.Validate baseline schedules, critical path analysis, and overall project timeline
• s.Schedule Development & Optimization: Define work breakdown structures (WBS), sequencing of activities, and resource allocation to ensure project efficienc
• y.Progress Monitoring & Reporting: Track project progress against planned timelines, generating reports for management and stakeholder
• s.Risk & Delay Mitigation: Identify scheduling risks and provide mitigation strategies to avoid project delay
• s.Coordination with Project Teams: Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to synchronize schedules and resolve scheduling conflict
• s.Resource Allocation & Productivity Analysis: Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, equipment, and materials to meet project deadline
• s.Contractual & Compliance Adherence: Ensure project scheduling aligns with contractual terms and regulatory requirement
