ROLE TITLE:
Branding Specialist (Resume Writer, LinkedIn Optimization & Content Strategist).
ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a skilled and creative Branding Specialist to join our Professional Branding team. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling, understands personal branding strategies, and can craft compelling narratives that help cybersecurity professionals stand out in a competitive job market. This role plays a critical part in helping our students secure six-figure cybersecurity jobs within 30 days by creating high-quality resumes, optimized LinkedIn profiles, and thought leadership content that elevates their professional credibility.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Resume Development & Optimization
• Write and optimize professional resumes for cybersecurity roles (GRC, SOC Analyst, Compliance)
• Ensure 95-100% ATS compatibility across all resume submissions
• Tailor resumes to specific job descriptions and industry requirements
• Conduct quality reviews and implement feedback cycles
LinkedIn Profile Optimization
• Transform LinkedIn profiles into high-visibility branding assets
• Write compelling headlines, about sections, and experience descriptions
• Optimize profiles for recruiter search and engagement
• Implement keyword strategies aligned with target cybersecurity roles
Strategic Content Creation
• Develop LinkedIn posts per student.
• Create thought leadership content positioning students as industry experts
• Write engaging posts on GRC frameworks, compliance, risk management, and cybersecurity trends
• Support community engagement through quiz facilitation and Discord content
Collaboration & Quality Assurance
• Work closely with Career Specialists to align branding with job search strategy
• Participate in weekly team reviews and performance tracking
• Contribute to process improvement and SOP development
• Maintain documentation and progress tracking for all assigned students
Required Qualifications:
• 4+ years of professional writing experience (resume writing, LinkedIn optimization)
• Strong understanding of ATS systems and resume optimization techniques
• Excellent command of English (written and verbal)
• Proven ability to write compelling, conversion-focused content
• Experience working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
Preferred:
• Familiarity with cybersecurity terminology and industry trends.
• Previous experience in career development services.
• Portfolio demonstrating resume writing and LinkedIn optimization work.
• Experience with content strategy and thought leadership positioning.
