Job Purpose

To oversee the daily operations of the Benghazi branch and ensure the achievement of delivery performance targets, service quality standards, warehouse efficiency, and team management objectives in accordance with CAMEX operational procedures and policies.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Management

  • Supervise the receiving, sorting, and dispatching of shipments.
  • Monitor inbound and outbound shipments between the branch, headquarters, and other branches.
  • Ensure all shipments are dispatched for delivery within the required timelines.
  • Follow up on delayed shipments and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with CAMEX Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Team Management

  • Supervise branch employees and delivery personnel.
  • Assign and monitor daily tasks and responsibilities.
  • Evaluate employee performance and provide regular feedback.
  • Train and support new employees during onboarding.
  • Report operational challenges and staffing requirements to management.

Customer Service

  • Follow up on critical customer complaints escalated by the Customer Care Department.
  • Communicate with key customers when required.
  • Investigate shipment delays, losses, or service issues and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Contribute to improving customer satisfaction and service quality.

Warehouse Management

  • Ensure inventory and shipment records are accurate.
  • Maintain the safety and security of all shipments within the branch.
  • Organize receiving, storage, and dispatch areas efficiently.
  • Monitor returned, pending, and problematic shipments and ensure timely resolution.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations, logistics, warehousing, delivery services, or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing a team of at least 10 employees.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make effective decisions.
  • Good reporting and computer skills.
  • Previous experience in courier, delivery, or logistics companies is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and achieve operational targets.
