RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receiving of all stock and dispatch (claims), including processing of all receiving related paperwork according to the stipulated deadlines
- Ensure that security procedures are followed as per checklist
- Check stock leaving the premises for delivery or transfer
- To observe for theft (staff & customers)
- To check and sign cash refunds & credit notes
- Management of change
- Responsible for security of buildings, setting burglar alarms, locking up in evenings, checking that fences and the perimeter are secure
- To search staff, vehicle and lockers randomly
- Conduct generator tests
- Ensure write off’s are correctly disposed of
- Spot check stock takes
- Conduct label trains/price changes
- Give feedback on suppliers to relevant person
- Weekly asset count (Trolleys, radios etc)
- Perform any other tasks as required by Senior Management to ensure the continued smooth operation of the company and to meet the company’s aim of high standards and high customer service.
CRITERIA NEEDED:
- 2 years experience in Retail receiving
- Reliable and honest
- Confident
- Excellent attention to detail
- Computer literate (intermediate MS excel)
- Must be self motivated, assertive and professional
- Must be organized, efficient, with strong communication skills on all levels
- Able to work weekends and public holidays
- Vigilant and alert with high energy levels
- Clear credit and criminal history
