Bilingual On-Site Supervisor Jobs in Franklin, KY at Epic Personnel Partners, LLC
Are you ready to jumpstart your career and become an EPIC employee? We are looking for an On-Site Supervisor to assist in managing up to 300 temporary associates at a distribution center in Franklin, KY. This role requires the ability to work in a cold storage facility with no scheduling restrictions.
Objective: The On-Site Supervisor will support clients by managing temporary employees effectively and cost-efficiently.
Responsibilities:
With Respect to the On-Site Manager:
- Serve as the point of contact and handle daily on-site supervisory activities.
- Alert the On-site Manager of any serious incidents or situations.
- Act as a liaison between the On-Site Manager and the customer.
- Provide detailed updates to the On-Site Manager on tasks and noteworthy situations.
- Ensure proper execution of directives given by the On-Site Manager.
- Seek guidance when handling precarious situations.
- Be proactive in suggesting improvements to internal processes.
With Respect to the Area Manager:
- Act as the point of contact when the On-Site Manager is not available.
- Notify the Area Manager of any serious incidents if unable to contact the On-Site Manager.
With Respect to the Customer:
- Build strong communication and business relationships with local customer supervisory and management staff.
- Attend operational or HR meetings and report discussed points to the On-Site Manager.
With Respect to the Branch Office:
- Communicate customer requests for manpower and other needs promptly.
- Provide feedback on the quality of associates dispatched to ensure workforce calibration.
- Develop a stellar work relationship with branch office staff.
With Respect to the On-site Team:
- Account for work performance to the On-Site Manager and team.
- Adhere to all staffing policies and work procedures.
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
- Assist other team members and track progress to meet deadlines.
- Conduct regular audits to maintain accurate documentation in the management database.
With Respect to Epic “The Company”:
- Evaluate day-to-day activities to assess risks and address them promptly.
- Spend significant time in associates’ work areas to ensure safety.
- Suggest ideas to improve internal processes and assist with unemployment and worker’s compensation claims.
With Respect to Agency Associates:
- Oversee associates at the client’s site.
- Certify new associates on Powered Industrial Trucks.
- Monitor associates to ensure safety guidelines and performance requirements are met.
- Engage with associates to foster a welcoming work environment.
- Conduct safety start-up meetings and coordinate schedules.
Requirements:
- Ability to perform any and all on-site related duties.
- Proactive problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to company policies.
- Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to resolve problems within the team.
- Flexibility with schedule and availability for additional hours.
- Proficient in Microsoft Products and time management software.
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
Work Environment:
- Ability to work in varying temperatures in a distribution center.
- Handle pressure and fast-paced environments effectively.
Physical Demands:
- Lift 10lbs to 50lbs.
- Sit at a desk for long periods and walk on concrete warehouse floors for extended periods.
