BI Analyst II

This is a 6 – month contract with our client in the banking sector.

We are seeking a certified Power BI & Data Engineering Specialist to drive the visual and technical transformation of our reporting landscape. You will lead efforts to elevate report look-and-feel, optimise underlying data engineering pipelines, and continuously improve our overall delivery cadence.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Power BI Transformation: Lead the redesign and continuous improvement of report layouts, UI/UX, and performance standards.
• 
  Data Engineering: Oversee and optimize robust data pipelines feeding into the reporting environment to accelerate delivery cadence.
• 
  Continuous Improvement: Standardize frameworks to boost reporting efficiency, delivery speed, and data quality.

Requirements

• 
  Certifications: Dual certifications in Power BI (e.g., PL-300) and Data Engineering (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP, or equivalent).
• 
  Experience: Proven track record leading a transformation initiative specifically within the Power BI domain.
• 
  Technical Skills: Expert-level Power BI development (DAX, data modeling) and strong core data engineering capabilities.
• 
  Nice-to-Have: Experience or familiarity with Ab-Initio is a distinct advantage (not mandatory).
